Most marketers only create tactical collateral and do not have the understanding of how to ethically influence your audience.

Pre seminar warm up

Because this is a serious undertaking I want you to be prepared BEFORE the event. What you are embarking on is an experience which is almost certainly a radical departure from anything you have done before. There is nothing like this. Not even in the Power Marketing Program.

Our program is based around a few major concepts. The first and most important is to know your BEST customer. Everyone else is trying to sell to everyone. This wastes time and dilutes effort. You should be focusing on only ONE customer type. That customer should be fun to work with as well as profitable. Life is too short to swap your precious time for a few dollars from working with bottom of the barrel types.

I have created a pre-seminar warm up for your brain which will make it easier for you to create the materials you need to be the leader in your industry. There’s nothing weird about this process. Just some thinking so you can answer some questions and complete some worksheets.

As I say, the first concept is understanding your customers and prospects. You need to understand them so well they will think of you as a welcome or honoured guest in their life. This is why we get you to do some work BEFORE the seminar. I will send you our proprietary worksheets along with training videos on how to use them. This will enable you to enter the training room with a clear understanding of your best customers and the journey they are on.

The worksheets are based on human behaviour. I worked as a counselor in this field for 14 years. I used to teach others how to do this, which means it is easy for you to learn how to apply this to your market. I am also a trainer in accelerated learning so you can relax. This stuff is easier than you think.

You will also carry out competition research so you know all about your customers choices and so you can serve them better.

Day 1 - Part 1 Understanding the buyer's mind

Welcome and an overview of what we’re going to cover

To start with we’ll have an accelerated lesson on how the human mind processes information and why it’s important when it comes to marketing your business. Just knowing this is going to put you in front of everyone else in your industry. They’ll still be making silly ads that are funny and creative with cute talking animals while you get right into the mind of your customers and prospects.

This is not to manipulate people into buying stuff. In fact it’s the exact opposite of that.

This session is about learning how you can do more to help your customers and prospects solve their problems and thereby position yourself as their best and only viable choice. In addition to the marketing training, you will get the benefit of my 30 years of experience studying and practising motivational and behavioural psychology.

This combination is not available anywhere else on the planet. My Filipino VA says the way I think, makes her brain giggle. (It’s a Filipino compliment apparently…)

Day 1- Part 2 The discovery process

This work builds on the pre-seminar home tasks you have already completed. It will enable you to create deep levels of trust with your market.

This is where you will get the basic building blocks for all of your marketing campaigns. Do not underestimate the value of knowing your customers better than they know themselves. When you combine this information with what you learned in the last session you are better able to devise win win solutions. No need to be “creative” that’s for the amateurs.

Day 1 - Part 3 Hot buttons

Discussions on the discovery process. If there’s anything we missed in the late morning session this is where we’ll sort that out.

Hot buttons and innovations are THE most important thing in making your business truly unique and utterly appealing to your market. What you will learn and do in this session is responsible for millions of dollars in sales world wide. You’re going to dive even deeper into what motivates your customers to take action. And there’s a beautiful twist in this section of the training that is utterly logical but never talked about.

I’ll give you the two questions that enable you to really understand how you can assist prospects to get what they want.

This may well be the most important and powerful marketing training you will ever have because in this session and the next one you are going to innovate your company to lead your industry.

This is where we are going to dive in and write powerful headlines that capture the attention of your customers.

This is important because if a prospect doesn’t read your headlines they almost certainly won’t read anything else.

People are overwhelmed with too much information and media. This is how you break through the white noise and get their attention.  I’ll teach you 3 methods for doing this along with some twists to make the formulas even more powerful. You’ll discover new ways to understand what motivates your customers.

You are going to get our insider test formula so you’ll know how effective your headlines will be before you ever send them out. And you’ll learn our 7 step process for refining and polishing headlines, too.

This is about getting the deepest possible understanding of how your clients try to solve their problems.

Day 2 - Part 2 Headlines continued

Headlines part 2. You are going to write 50 + headlines in less than an hour. You’ll learn how to make them emotionally appealing and how to structure them so your prospective customer walks along the buyers time line towards your door. With their interest in your solutions to their problems aroused.

Why so many? Because the more you write, the better they get and the deeper your understanding of your customers gets..

You are going to train your brain to know what motivates your customers.

Day 2 Part 3 - Creating content that serves your customer's needs

1:30- 3:15 pm

Creating content

In the first sessions of day 2 you learned how to capture the attention of your prospects and customers and how to connect with them, so you can begin making a bond with them. You need to demonstrate you can help them by actually helping them. That’s what this part of the training is about.

You’ll get the system we use to create useful information loaded material that assists your clients and prospects to get closer to their goal. You will step into the role of the trusted advisor and demonstrate your power to help them.

This material will form the core of all of your content for every media format so you can position yourself and your firm as the only obvious choice to do business with.

Day 2 - Part 4 Emails and follow up systems

3:35pm-5pm

Scripting emails and using automated follow up systems.

An auto-responder is a piece of code that is used to send out emails automatically at a prearranged time and in a prearranged sequence. This means you can write a message and follow up with people from trade shows, seminars, meet ups and networking events as well as from web pages, QR codes, text messages and a whole load of other applications. This really is where 95% + of all businesses drop the ball and it’s low hanging fruit waiting to be plucked. 80% of all sales occur after the 6th follow up. Only 3% of all businesses do this. And it’s not just using emails. You should also use the phone, postcards and lots of other methods.

Day 3 - Part 1- Fifteen proven copy angles you can use

Not everything works first time round. Despite having gone through the identification process for your best customers it doesn’t mean that your message is always going to do the trick. Sometimes you have to say the same thing from a different angle.

In this segment you are going to learn 15 angles that professional copy writers use to make sure their content gets read.
This creates flexibility in your approach to communicating with prospects and potentially gives more depth to your personality that they can connect to and bond with.

Day 3 - Part 2 Creating incentives

10:15 am – 12:30 pm

In this session we will create incentives that cause your prospects to be confident that you are the one they should do business with. You’ll learn how to create these incentives in any media format…There is a formula for this and it builds from all of the good work you’ve done already.

You’re going to get 37 examples in full colour and the thinking behind them plus you will learn HOW to think this way.

Most businesses just focus on getting the sale. With your incentive you are working on getting the trust, so you get every sale. Your incentive/s enable you to target all of the buyer’s timeline / educational spectrum.

Day 3 - Part 3 Laying out print materials

1:30 -3:30 pm

Learn the right way to lay out your marketing materials so they are crisp and pleasing to the eye. I’ll share tips and tricks for using when branding your business.

Everyone else starts with branding, which is a bit back to front. Nobody cares who you are or what your logo or brand is until you have first demonstrated how you can help them.

Without the solid foundations that you have built over the last 2 1/2 days it would all topple over. That’s why we spent so much time laying a solid base for you.

Day 3 - Part 4 Review of what you've learned and any questions

We will conclude and sumarise in this section. Use this time to clarify anything you want a deeper understanding of. Please ask questions.

And, remember those tough customer lists you brought along? You’re going to use what you’ve put together to call them and close a sale (results not guaranteed).
